Buzzing Beauty: A Honey Bee on a Radiant Flower

Reminding us of summer days is my original painting of a honey bee perched atop a radiant orange flower. I really enjoyed trying to capture the honey bee's subtle charm, buzzing with purpose as it flits from flower to flower. The delicate watercolour was perfect to show the blue hues in the honey bee body and for capturing the soft fuzz of his body and head.
The print has been faithfully produced from the original watercolour, using high quality ink on 100% acid free, fine art 285gsm paper (A3/12x10 inches on 220gsm paper) with a velvety, textured surface.
Available as a print to frame yourself or in a wooden oak finish frame. Each print is individually signed in pencil at the bottom.

All wooden frames have a hanging hook plus back stand apart from the A4 size that has only hanging hooks (no back stand).
